Atypical Academy is the learning and skilling platform of Atypical Advantage, India's largest livelihood platform for persons with disabilities and a winner of the prestigious National Award presented by the President of India.
Our mission is to make quality English education accessible to every Deaf learner by creating learning experiences designed specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.
Built with accessibility at its core, our curriculum combines structured, visual learning with native sign language support, currently available in Indian Sign Language (ISL) to strengthen reading, writing, and workplace communication skills.
By breaking language barriers, we empower learners with the confidence and skills needed to pursue higher education, meaningful employment, and greater independence. To date, Atypical Academy has trained over 500+ deaf and Hard of Hearing learners, helping them unlock new opportunities through accessible education.
