Terms & Conditions
ScribeMatch is a product of Atypical Platform Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), operating under the Atypical Advantage brand. By downloading, registering on, or using the ScribeMatch mobile application or associated web portal (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via in-app alert or email. Continued use of the Platform after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Platform Overview
ScribeMatch is a community-based, invite-only mobile application designed to connect individuals who require writing assistance ("Users") with community-verified volunteers who provide that assistance ("Scribers"). The Platform is not a public marketplace — all participants must be verified by an administrator before gaining access.
The Platform prioritises trust, accessibility, safety, and accountability. All interactions occur within a controlled, monitored environment. ScribeMatch does not employ Scribers and is not a party to any engagement between a User and a Scriber. We provide the technology infrastructure that facilitates these connections.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
Age Requirement
To use ScribeMatch, you must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals under 18 may only access the Platform with the explicit consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for their use of the Platform and compliance with these Terms.
Accurate Information
You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration, including your name, contact details, and location. You are responsible for keeping your profile information current. Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
Account Security
Your account is personal to you and is non-transferable. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTP and session credentials. You must not share your account access with any other individual. ScribeMatch will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.
Admin-Controlled Onboarding
ScribeMatch operates on an invitation-only basis. Registration does not automatically grant access. All accounts — whether User or Scriber — must be reviewed and approved by an administrator before the Platform features become available. We reserve the right to decline or revoke any application without providing reasons.
3. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, branding, design, and software comprising the ScribeMatch Platform — including the application, admin panel, algorithms, interface design, logos, and documentation — is the exclusive intellectual property of Atypical Platform Pvt. Ltd., unless otherwise stated.
Limited Licence to Users
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the ScribeMatch application strictly for its intended purpose: connecting with community Scribers or Users for writing assistance. This licence does not permit you to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application
- Use Platform content for commercial, promotional, or competitive purposes
- Screen-record, screenshot, or redistribute in-app conversations without explicit consent of all parties
Content Submitted by Users
By submitting any content to the Platform — including request descriptions, profile information, and chat messages — you grant ScribeMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and use that content solely to operate the Platform and fulfil our obligations under these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
4. General Disclaimer
The ScribeMatch Platform and all services provided through it are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain a reliable, safe, and accessible service, we make no representations or warranties — express or implied — regarding:
